ESPAÑOL
Hace tiempo que un pequeño pingüino aprendió a volar. Agitando las alas contra el viento comprendió que vivir y soñar podían no ser contrarios y que podía elegir hacer ambos. El pequeño pingüino había alcanzado la libertad, logrando lo imposible. Tenía la sensación de hacer lo que siempre estuvo destinado a hacer, su pasión, su propósito. Había alcanzado la plenitud.
Entonces ocurrió algo mágico. Sus compañeros comenzaron a intentar alzar el vuelo, guiados por él. Y en ese momento comprendió que lo que de verdad quería en la vida no era volar sin más, sino enseñar a otros a hacerlo.
Mi nombre es David López-Zuazo.
Nací con Frodo y su Comunidad y crecí contando historias de caballeros, detectives y agentes secretos. Pronto, los temas sociales calaron en mi creatividad y comencé a contar historias más humanas, más reales. Ahora, la fantasía supone para mí un reflejo de una sociedad en la que vivimos, una sociedad que necesita urgentemente un cambio. Tengo claro que este cambio debe venir de las historias que contamos.

Mi objetivo profesional es mejorar el mundo que me rodea contando historias. Creo en el poder de las historias para conectar a las personas. Tienen la capacidad de cambiar actitudes, además de ofrecer una visión única de la experiencia humana. Todo empieza por creer.

A little penguin learned to fly long ago. Flapping his wings against the wind, he understood that living and dreaming could not be opposites and that he could choose to do both. The little penguin had achieved freedom, making the impossible possible. He had a sense of doing what he was always meant to do, his passion, his purpose. He had reached fullness.
Then something magical happened. His companions began to try to take flight, guided by him. And at that moment he understood that what he really wanted in life was not just to fly, but to teach others how to do it.
My name is David López-Zuazo.
I was born with Frodo and his Fellowship and grew up telling stories of knights, detectives and secret agents. Soon, social issues permeated my creativity and I began to tell more human, more real stories. Now, fantasy is for me a reflection of a society in which we live, a society that urgently needs change. I am clear that this change must come from the stories we tell.

My professional goal is to improve the world around me by telling stories. I believe in the power of stories to connect people. They have the ability to change attitudes, as well as offering a unique insight into the human experience. It all starts with believing.
